Important Dates

Fall Session 2016 starts the week of September 12th.

Studio is closed the week of Thanksgiving (November 21-26).

Production Musical Theatre Class Dress Rehearsals are the weekend of December 3-4
Production Musical Theatre Class Performances are the weekend of December 10-11
(Specific times for each class dress rehearsal and show will be announced.)

Non-Production Classes (i.e. Dance classes, Pre-K Musical Theatre, and Hamilton Workshop) will have in-class performances the week of December 5th.

Fall Session 2016 ends the week of December 5th.

Prices

Dance Classes are $72 every four weeks.

Fall 2016 Musical Theatre classes are a flat rate for the session:

Pre-K Musical Theatre (Non-Production Class; in-class performance): $290
Hamilton Workshop
 (Non-Production Class; in-class performance)$290
Musical Theatre 1 & 2 (Production Class; show at a theatre): $360
Musical Theatre 3 (Production Class; show at a theatre): $440
Musical Theatre 4 & 5 (Production Class; show at a theatre): $500

Musical Theatre Class sibling discount: $25
Dance Class sibling discount: 10%
Musical Theatre Production Classes include two free tickets to the show.  Additional tickets will be available for purchase midway through the session.

Tuition for Dance Classes is charged to the card on file on the 1st of every month.  Musical Theatre Classes require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to secure your child’s spot. The remaining balance is charged to the card on file on the first day of class. 

Policies

There is no lot parking at Ovation.  There is street parking on Ventura and Mammoth.  We are proud to offer valet drop-off for Musical Theatre Production Classes (ages 5 & up only), starting 10 minutes before class begins.  Drop-off begins the SECOND week of class.  Drop-off is at the back of the studio.  Please enter the alley for drop-off from the Mammoth side (NOT the Woodman side) and drop your child off with an Ovation teacher.  We do NOT offer pick-up.  Please park and walk in to pick up your child after class.  Our entrance is in the back of the studio.

No street shoes are allowed in our studio.  Students MUST wear dance shoes – jazz or ballet shoes are required.

Students enrolled in Musical Theatre Class Production must commit to the entire session and must be present for dress rehearsal and show.  There is no late enrollment for Musical Theatre Production Classes.  There are no makeup classes.  Students may enroll in Other Classes at any time.  We require four weeks’ notice prior to canceling enrollment in an Ongoing Class.

Roles for production shows are decided after the FIRST day of class.  Role decisions are final and complaints will not be tolerated.  Please remember that all decisions are made with the students’ best interest in mind.

There are no refunds or credits for missed classes.

Schedule subject to change.  Classes may be canceled or combined due to low enrollment.

Paperwork

All new students (or returning students but new to this location) are required to fill out paperwork: our image waiver and liability release.  These forms must be filled out and signed before a student can attend class at Ovation.  To save time on your child’s first day of class, you can print and sign the forms at home.  Click the links below to print.
