Ovation Performing Arts Center is dedicated to providing an educational experience to children through performing arts. We pride ourselves on giving children an outlet to create their creativity. Whether performing is a child’s lifelong passion or simply an exciting extra-curricular activity, we aim to instill children with a sense of camaraderie, responsibility, dedication, and passion, while also having fun!
Unlike other children’s theatre companies that feature one or two performers in their productions, we write our shows based on the children we have in our classes. We tailor our shows to the individual actors so that each child is featured and has ample solos and stage time. Our talented team of writers and teachers pride themselves on surpassing parents’ expectations of what a “kids’ show” should look like. We encourage all children to participate and are hailed for our all-inclusive approach.
Ovation’s dedicated team of writers and teachers are committed to providing kid-friendly musicals that showcase each child’s individual talents and give every performer ample stage time! Every student is given a featured role in our shows, so that each child is given his or her own chance to shine. We are all about having fun, gaining confidence, achieving goals, and loving who you are!

Miss Sami is equally passionate about voice, acting, and dance. She is a native Los Angeleno and has been on the “scene” since she was just a kid. Sami trained with the prestigious Los Angeles Ballet and completed the Royal Academy of Dance’s ballet program, achieving the highest scores on her ballet exams for four consecutive years. Her strong ballet foundation allowed her to excel in other dance styles, too, such as jazz: Fosse, lyrical, and contemporary, and tap: Broadway and rhythm. She competed with Theatrics Dance Company all through her childhood and teen years and won numerous awards at competitions and conventions along the West Coast.
As well as dance, she has trained vocally since age 5. She studied all styles of music, but fell particularly in love with musical theater.
